NASA-JPL Open House

So, this is the one of the coolest events I've seen in a long time. Why? Because I love space. And totally wanted to be an astronaut when I grew up. Have *you* ever wanted to see what goes on inside NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory? The annual NASA-JPL Open House is the one weekend a year when we they put their missions on display and let you roam the sprawling facility.

All weekend (that's Saturday & Sunday), you can explore JPL, view their missions and projects, and speak with the scientists and engineers working on them.

Plus, Twitter users can win extra special prizes just for following @NASAJPL and using the hashtag #JPLOpen on June 9 and 10! Whoa.

If you plan to attend, wear comfortable shoes and pack a water bottle. No bags, backpacks or ice chests are allowed, with the exception of small purses and diaper bags. Arrive early for best parking and to avoid long lines at some of the more popular exhibits. Admission and parking are FREE.
