Los Angeles Improv Comedy Festival @ iO West

All this week at iO West - it's the annual LA Improv Festival! Shows, workshops, stars!

Each year iO West hosts the Los Angeles Improv Comedy Festival, where performers from all over the world gather to share their work, including long-form, short-form, musical, and genre-specific improvisation.

In addition to improv, the more than 150 festival shows feature sketch comedy, solo performance and stand-up as well. All throughout the week, nearly 60 workshops are held by host and visiting instructors. (Not super-expensive, but also not RFB cheap, so consider at your own-discretion...)

And the cool thing (we know, the whole thing is cool, huh) about this particular festival is that a portion of the proceeds from the festival shows and workshops will benefit The Chris Farley House, a state-certified residential treatment program for recovering men and women. Sober, structured living, as well as case management and counseling, are available to assist with the transition to productive independent living and employment.
