Wednesday is children's night at Levitt Pavilion Pasadena at its 10th Annual Summer Music Festival. This week see Bob Baker Marionettes. The Festival begins at 5pm with the new KidZone presented by Kids Klub Child Development Centers, featuring interactive fun, like face-painting and balloons from Kids Klub and The Awesome Playground, water toys from Pump and Splash, games, Interactive Sidestage shows, a 12 ft. coloring mural and more. The show starts at 7pm.

The Levitt Pavilion Pasadena presents its 10th Annual Summer Music Festival series of 50 free music concerts, Wednesday through Sunday for 10 weeks, under the stars at the historic Memorial Park band shell in the heart of Old Pasadena. Entertaining audiences of over 55,000 each year at 450 concerts and counting, the summer festival brings people from all walks of life together to enjoy a shared evening of great music, beautiful weather, a warm and friendly ambience, and a true feeling of community.

Concerts at the Levitt Pavilion are made possible in part by the Pasadena Arts; Culture Commission and the City of Pasadena Cultural Affairs Division. The Friends of the Levitt Pavilion are also supported in part by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.

The Mortimer Levitt Foundation (MLF), created in 1966 by New York philanthropists Mortimer and Mimi Levitt, donates funds to support performing arts venues that build communities, support diversity, and enhance access to the arts. Mortimer Levitt, who had a long love affair with outdoor music, grew up in an era when almost every community had a Sunday afternoon concert on the village green. On his 90th birthday, Mortimer sold the company he had owned for 60 years and decided to replace his 82 custom shirt shops with Levitt Pavilions around the country. SoCal has Levitt Pavilions in Pasadena and in LA's MacArthur Park. Visit the national Levitt Pavilions website to learn more about MLF's mission to provide free music across America.
